What this site is

Visit Marbella is a focused tourist's guide to one place on the Costa del Sol. It's written for people who have between a long weekend and a full week, and it concentrates on what they're most likely to want — culture, food, shopping, beach time, and day trips — rather than where to sleep or how to buy a holiday flat.

The brief is biased toward the off-season (especially the first half of May), when the weather is mild, restaurant terraces are open, and the Old Town isn't yet shoulder-to-shoulder.

What this site is not

Suggest an edit or report a problem

The site is open source. If a restaurant has closed, an opening time has changed, a bus route has moved, or you want to suggest something we've missed, the easiest thing to do is open an issue or a pull request on the repository.

A note on the tech

This site is plain HTML, CSS and a few lines of vanilla JavaScript. There's no framework, no build step, and no third-party scripts beyond Cloudflare's own analytics on the host. Everything you see is in the repository as-is. That keeps it fast, accessible, and cheap to run.
